Questions we get asked
How Alignd actually works in practice.
Three to six people per side is the sweet spot: the delivery lead, the sponsor, and
the people closest to the work. Today each side keeps the same six signals up to date.
In the pilot we're adding a two-minute weekly pulse that goes to everyone, with the
same six questions for both sides.
There is no AI in the product yet. Today the score and the suggested actions come from
fixed rules applied to the six signals both sides log. In the pilot we're adding a
record of what's in scope and the phase plan, kept by both sides, and an AI-written
weekly review: it reads the pulse and the six signals against that record — not
against a document it parses on its own — and flags when the pattern looks like scope
creeping past the contract, or a phase slipping against the roadmap. It will write
that up in plain language alongside the score; it won't replace the conversation both
sides still need to have.
The week still closes and the score still moves, but it is marked as one-sided.
Alignd's value is the gap between two views, so a one-sided week is flagged rather
than presented as a shared score.
Expected — and designed for. The score is built from the same six signals every week —
scope clarity, executive sponsor, communication quality, delivery cadence, value
realisation and working relationship — which someone on each side keeps up to date by
hand, so a quiet week doesn't leave the score stale. In the pilot, the weekly pulse
and delivery evidence from your timesheets and change-request log will feed the score
alongside those; there is no automated import yet.
No. By design, answers are only ever shown in aggregate, per side. Today each side
logs the shared signals directly, so there are no individual responses in the product;
the weekly pulse in the pilot keeps that rule.
Only in your own browser. The demo on this site runs entirely in your browser: what
you type is saved in its local storage, never sent to us, and you can clear it at any
time. Anonymous page analytics run only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and
the pilot form sends what you submit. The real product is different: it stores your
engagement's data in an EU-hosted, encrypted database, described in full on our
security page.
Data is stored in a managed EU-hosted database, encrypted in transit and at rest, with
access scoped to the members of your engagement. Written data-processing terms are
issued at pilot start — ask us for the current version.
No. Steering meetings, status reports, and delivery tooling stay exactly as they are.
Alignd feeds them: it tells you what to put on Thursday's agenda before the meeting,
not instead of it.
One engagement, both sides, four weeks: a short setup call, four weekly check-ins, and
a closing read-out with your own numbers. Pilots are also how we're rolling out the
weekly pulse, locked weeks and AI-written reviews, so you'll help shape them. The
pilot is free. After that it's €490 per engagement per month (Standard), or a annual
Portfolio license for firms running up to 10 engagements a year — see
full pricing.
A named engagement, a contact on each side, three to six participants per side, and
someone on each side willing to spend a minute updating the six signals by hand each
week — pulling the numbers from whatever timesheet or ticket tool you already use.
There's no automated import yet, so this is manual entry, not a data feed.
